At a meeting of antimasonic delegates from the several towns composing the fourteenth Senatorial District, convened at the house of Mr. Samuel Underwood, in Pomfret, on the 24 th Feb. 1834,
HON. JONATHAN NICHOLS,
of Thompson, was unanimously designated as a suitable candidate for Senator, to represent said District at the next session of the Legislature.
