The trial of Mr. Garrison has been put off to the March session of the County Court.

About this Item

Garrison faced charges of libel. The trial was never held. Garrison was imprisoned once in Baltimore, and was put under lock and key for his own safety during the attempt to lynch him by a Boston mob in 1835. But Windham County never laid a finger on him!
